Interior design school is a very popular choice in Michigan. I am currently employed by JGA Design and Architecture as a retail designer where I develop prototypes and flagship stores for numerous national and international brands. This program challenged some of my weaknesses and helped me turn them into strengths like orally presenting a project to an instructor or to a client. The Interior Design program at Henry Ford College laid the groundwork for a successful transition into a four-year program through their hands-on approach to education and a dedication to pushing each student to their greatest potential.
Courses within the program have strong objectives and each course is rigorous in that they are labor intensive with strict deadlines. Overall, the program is something truly special, offering a highly thorough design education over the course of two-years provided me with a greatly rewarding experience and a foundation that has allowed my work to be at the level it is today.
